CYLINDER  LINER  FITTING

The success of Mitaka Motocross piston kits has encouraged their use in cylinder lining applications for all models covered by the Mitaka range. This offers a significant reduction in the price of what is, by its nature, a rather expensive process.

What  is now offered is a package deal of a liner fitted, together with Mitaka piston kit and Top gasket set for a “deal” price as follows.

This offer is for the model range for which Mitaka pistons are available. As you can see from Mitaka piston page, this covers the majority of plated cylinders.

If the cylinder is so seriously damaged that a special liner has to be made, these offer these prices cannot be offered.  Approximately 1,000 liners are stocked so that availability is excellent.

If the cylinder needs a welding repair, the additionsal cost will be approximately £35.00 Please remove the powervalve and the reed valve.

A big advantage of a linered cylinder is that Mitaka have oversize pistons available for almost every model so that future rebores can be done very economically.
